posters in a single out-of-home communication system
Case 06 / Exhibition identity
The Essence of Things
A visual system for a contemporary art exhibition at the Roshcha art cluster: objects, typography, and materials in a single dimensional space.

exhibition where household objects become works of art
Familiar things stop being ordinary when the material, scale, and context change.
The Roshcha art cluster asked us to tell the story of “The Essence of Things”. In the gallery on the cluster grounds, young artists and local brands present household objects in a new reading.
Kitchenware and vases bring glass, clay, and wood together with metal, plastic, rubber, cement, and automotive lacquer. Some of the objects can be bought — so the communication must not only invite people to the exhibition but also spark interest in the objects themselves.
Material in motion
Volume and texture carry the story beyond the poster.
The animation shows how light glides across a surface and how a familiar object form becomes part of the exhibition image.
What we did
The posters work as standalone visual objects.
The visual system brings together the exhibition idea, the materiality, and the character of the art cluster without overloading the viewer with explanations.
Exhibition idea
We built a visual system around household objects that artists and local brands reinterpret through material, form, and function.
Dimensional typography
The title and key words became part of the scene: the letters gained weight, texture, and light, like full-fledged exhibition objects.
3D objects in Blender
We modeled the forms and tuned materials and lighting so the posters convey clay, glass, metal, and other contrasting textures.
Poster system
We produced the main and secondary posters for out-of-home advertising across the art cluster — different in composition but unified in character.
Material animation
Motion complements the stills: it helps you see the volume, surface, and scale of the objects in a living communication format.
Reaching the audience
The campaign speaks to young visitors aged 20–35 who are interested in contemporary art, design, and local brands.
Poster series
Two compositions, one material logic.
The second poster develops the dimensional typography theme, and the Blender process shows how the scene was assembled and the lighting was set.
